We knew this hotel was just a place to sleep for a few hours after our red eye, so we didn’t go into it expecting much for what we paid BUT the blatant lack of hospitality is mind blowing. I have never been so dumbfounded by the lack of hospitality in my life.
It never happened… Uber arrived and we walked away. AWFUL! - Then at check out, while we were waiting for our Uber we sat at the Shake Shack bar to grab a quick drink… 2 workers…both walked past us several times, no hello, no be right with you, NOTHING! They were talking and then on their phones while we just sat at the EMPTY bar waiting to be acknowledged. After security called over to them THEN someone came out of that same back office that had already known we were waiting. I had to walk over to security to ask if there was anyone working the desk to which they had to CALL and tell them they had guests waiting…. We wouldn’t have been so bothered if it hadn’t been for the fact that we made eye contact several times with staff in the back office who KNEW there were guests waiting at the desk.
